Hugh Corder is Professor Emeritus of Public Law at the University of Cape Town, where he was Professor of Public Law from 1987 to 2019. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Law from 1999 to 2008.

Debbie Collier is Professor of Law and Director of the Centre for Transformative Regulation of Work, University of the Western Cape. She has consulted to the ILO on several labour law reform projects in the SADC region.

Dennis Davis was appointed a judge of the High Court in 1998, and appointed President of the Competition Appeal Court in 2000. He has served as a member of the Labour Appeal Court from 2000. He is Honorary Professor of Law at the University of Cape Town and Extraordinary Professor of Law at the University of the Western Cape.

Evance Kalula is the independent chairperson of the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association. He is Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of Cape Town, Honorary Professor at the University of Rwanda, and a fellow of the African Academy of Sciences.
